Anybody commute in KC?

Just curious. I ride the bus and occasionally bring my bike on it to ride to lunch or what have you. I am always on the lookout for people commuting. I typically see 2-3 people on Grand each day and was wondering if any were on here.

I'm a KCMO commuter. I live in Kansas City proper and work downtown, though. I ride downtown from the Old Northeast (that's not north of the river) every day. About 3.5 miles, so no biggie.

I used to take Oak Street home when I lived in Westport, but 9th and 12th streets are the main component of my regular route nowadays, though sometimes I go home via Cliff Drive, if I am in the mood for a scenic route.

Cool! I wouldn't mind living in the area and commuting down there. I live in Overland Park and bring my bike on the bus. Today I rode from Crown Center to Westport and back to Hospital Hill for class. There is a bike locked up at Crown Center many days but I have never seen who rides it.

I was commuting approximately 6 miles in Overland Park for a good portion of last year, although I never took the bus. Alas, my current assignment has me working from home... no commute for the foreseeable future.
