Rain pants

Just looking for some beathe-able rainpants ideas. I see some are $80+ and if they work, it's worth it. I've been wearing some old Nike ACG track pants that are dri-fit and they dry out quickly, but looking for some ideas.

Thanks!!

Have a look at www.Foxwear.net Custom made pants/tights at a low price. Variety of wicking/wind/water resistant materials.

When it comes to waterproofing, pants are less critical than tops. I prefer a more breathable, less proof style
I have used these for the past 9 years.
In the US, a similar model would be Montaine Featherlite.

go to eBay, watch items in sporting section searching "gore tex pants" . there are lots to bid on, saw 1 pr (used, small) at $1.00 plus shipping ($ 5.00). you need to be patient, the deal is there!
i got my recent pair there for about $26.00 total, inc s/h. they're blue, xl, with zippered ends for fitting shoes through. they were "used a few times" by a golfer, cleaned per eBay standards, and work great!
i prefer not to use them (ride in the rain), always carry with my commutes, have had to use them 2 times so far.
good luck in your search!

Thats all I use for legs, and i commute in a lot of wet cold days. WIndproof front, they get wet, my legs stay warm, they dry by time i leave work. When its only a few degrees above freezing and pouring rain, i wear knee warmers or leg warmers underneath for more warmth.
