Batteryspace.com OK ?

I'm thinking of purchasing the halogen 5w/15w light from batteryspace.com. Its about the same price as the currently sale-priced performance Viewpoint EVO light, but has a lighter, longer lasting lithium battery and a better spot/flood configuration (at least to my way of thinking).

Has anyone else purchased a light from batteryspace? How was your experience?

Strangely enough, using the "Search the forums" utility yieded nothing for batteryspace even though I know there's been discussion. I had better luck using google to search the site, but lost a lot of context. As far as I can tell, no one has had any damaging criticism of batteryspace.

Thanks!

At least two that I can remember have bought from batteryspace.com here.

Try searching for "HID light cheap" or things like that. There is one detailed report on the forums.

I could swear I've read here on BF that the lithium batteries are lousy in cold weather. Keep that in mind if you live in a chilly area.

I've bought many items from batteryspace.com and have had great results. One time, they screwed up my order and didn't send everything I had paid for...I called their help phone number and they made it right without any problems.

To me, the sign of a good company isn't being 100% perfect, but being 100% perfect when problems do come up.

I have bought multiple things from batteryspace.com, including an HID bare fixture (not part of a solution, just the DIY lamp). I have had zero problems with them. Bear in mind that they are a rock bottom price reseller. They will stand behind what they say on their site, but don't expect special favors. IE their warranty is 30 days, not 31 days.
I continue to buy from them a few times a year and have no problems.

I've got one of their lights. Good light for the money. Email them and they'll make the cord any length you want.

Just got a great deal on a 13.2V 4500 mA NiMH bottle battery from them to replace my old NiteRider battery... Works as advertised. They commicated with me through email letting me know I had made the purchase, when it shipped and the shipping numbers.

They are a good site, go for it.

BTW Niterider wanted $159 for the battery, Batteryspace wanted $69 for battery and charger, and it is a larger capacity. Yes, it is heavier... but I now have light for a much longer period.
