    A nice break

Between my travels over the 4th and a very busy home life, I hadn't ridden since 6/28 (quite a long time for me). I played 3 tennis matches so I havn't been totally sendentary.
I only got 5 hours of sleep last night, but when the alarm sounded this morning, I resolved to get back on the bike. It was a perfect day! I think that the time off the bike really let me (re)appreciate the joys of riding a bicycle. It didn't hurt that it was about 60 degrees with a slight (5 mph) tailwind. When I got to downtown, my average was over 20mph and I was still thinking about the scenic route I had just ridden. I hope everyone else had a great commute too. It's now 3 hours later and work isn't even starting to drag yet!

Cheers to all my fellow commuters.
I know just enough to make some serious mistakes =)

Nice. Light rain here, but cool. What is this "t-a-a-i-l-w-e-e-n-d" of which you speak?

A rare mythical beast which visits me once in a good year.
