Anyone ever have a car that was traveling next to them crash into a stopped car because they were paying more attention to you than to what was in front of them?
Seems like about once a week I get overtaken or am riding next to a car that figures, "this guy is on a bike, I should be going faster than him." They speed up or, better yet, *** the engine, paying attention to passing me and not looking forward. They have to slam on their brakes as I go to the right of a line of stopped cars. I've probably only had 1 or 2 cars really lock up their brakes trying to stop, but never seen an accident.
This probably happens to you too. Any actual accidents from this phenomenon?
