Thank god for waterproof bags
It didn't look it was gonna rain this morning.
Then it did on the way home.
I was at uni buying the textbooks I needed for this semester. ($300 worth, I swapped some other ones with mates). Packed them all up the messenger bag then jumped on the bike. 5min it started raining, I got drenched, got home pulled the books out and they were dry.
THANK YOU WATERPROOF MESSENGER BAG.
It saved me spending another $300. It woulda sucked hard if I had to buy them again. Plus I dunno when I would have the money again.

Go to wally world and pick up the biggest zip lock bags you can and stuff them in the panniers for the so called unexpectated rain storm. When I go backpacking I make them the first thing to buy. There is a nother thing called aloksack kinda like ziploc but more sturdy better seal maybe REI has some?
