For the stink I just use fresh clothes every day. To dry clothes at the office i hang most stuff up, mentionables hang from slightly opened file cabinet drawers, while underwear goes on the hook behind the door. But one thing I've learned, a computer is a great device for getting your wet socks dry, I just hang one in front over the air intake, and one in back over the exhaust, switch them after lunch and they are dry in time to go home.

There is nothing I hate more than putting on a pair of cold wet socks.

hmmm...I'm afraid to ask about application techniques...uh can we get a brand-name hint at your new-found success?

On rainy days, I like to use my 21 inch CRT monitor (this thing puts out a ton of heat) to dry out my clothes (shirt, shorts, gloves, socks). Takes about 30 minutes per side to get dry enough that I won't mind putting it back on at the end of the day. My monitor is indispensible when it comes to drying my winter gloves too. Nothing worse than putting on cold, damp gloves when it's 20*F outside.

And now for something on-topic, I find that my shirts occasionaly smell a bit when I put them back on in the afternoon but only in the summer. I do only wear them one day though. I wear the same baggy shorts every day. I used to wear bike shorts under my baggies for my 13.5 mile RT but I've since started wearing just boxer briefs to reduce my laundry pile and stay a little cooler in the heat. In the winter, I'll wear the same shirt 3 or 4 times without it developing a bad smell. I'm always "clean" at the start of my rides though.

I'm in a cubicle farm, too, but we're allowed to wear shorts and T-shirts. Each day I bring a fresh pair of underwear and a shirt to work. After I shower at work (I'm fortunate, I know), I put my old clothes in a zip-up messenger bag, which contains the smell, and put that under my desk. When I get home, both sets of clothes go on the laundry pile.

I hang my stuff up when I get the office, and wipe the sweat off me in the bathroom. That seems to limit stink on me & my clothes.

I had a chat with someone that hunts today. I forgot what turned the conversation to scent supressant (sp?) but what he said was a good home made solution is to use a small spray bottle with baking soda in it and spray on your clothes. It helps lower your scent detection when out in the woods when hunting. Now when I came back here today I saw this thread so I thought I'd mention it. Besides, I'm sure almost all of us has a box of baking soda in the fridge/freezer.

BTW I love that "challenge thier patriotism" line. I'll have to use that sometime. IMHO I think one of the best examples at a company is if the CEO/VP/the-brass-circle bike to work for that sets a good example to the other employees to bike knowing thier boss(es) bike. Brings that "togetherness" bond then having the workers bike while the boss drives some 10 MPG SUV/Bling bling car giving that dividing line.

Anyone know anything about the silver stuff in clothes? I've seen them being used in bandages now.

I did a quick search as I remember reading up something about a shirt with anti-bac, anti-odor, and wicking that had silver in it.

I take my bike clothes into the shower with me at work and use some of my liquid soap to clean them. After that I hang them up and by the time I leave they're dry and fresh.

I used to use Tag Body Shots, but I started attracting too much female attention at work! LOL!

All kidding aside, your diet can affect how much your clothes stink later in the day. If you eat too much protein, a by-product of protein metabolism is urea. So, cutting back on protein and increasing carbs may help decrease the possibility of urea being deposited in your clothing to begin with.
