questions.

I'm relatively new to the bike comminuting thing; I’ve only been doing it for about four months now. I love it and have a great routine going. I Bike 21 miles to work and carpool back home with my friend from work. Bike in the back of her truck of course/. Anyway……

What should I be thinking about on the high ways when it starts freezing outside? Or should I just play it safe, give in and drive. Cars and semis already make me kind of nervous as it is with out the ice.

And also my tires say they are 700x32/37c, so are they 32s or 37s? Would I notice a real difference if I bought narrower tires?

thanks for any input you’re willing to give

For winter I would recommend wider tires. Advice sort of depends on where you live, where I live (Baltimore, MD) snow is not bad but when it melts and refreezes can be a bit of an issue.

Look thru old threads in the Commuting forum and also read thru the Winter Cycling forum.
