Lights with Multiple Mounts

Hey all. I have several, err, lots of, umm, too many bikes. I've reached the conclusion that it's stupid to own 6 or 7 sets of crappy lights that break all the time and don't really work, and that I'd be better springing for a decent light set, and multiple mounts.

I'm not talking super duper things with seperate batteries and all that here - I'm talking £40, maybe a Cateye EL530. Or even less, if halogen will get near to LED for brightness. Anyway, my point is, can you get extra sets of mounts for Cateye lights? I want to put the same set on maybe 5 bikes. Possible?

Cateye US has a small parts store. I don't know if you can order parts from the UK but it might be worth a shot.

I have the mount for my Vega on all my bikes. Most decent mfgrs sell the pieces parts to their products.

Write to Cateye, they have excellent customer service.

And most Cateye mounts are interchangeable too.

The different brackets are all on the Cateye web site.
You can buy whatever you need from the website. I have bought them for friends.

I modify my tailight brackets so one quick release bracket with a light on it will fit all my bikes.
