"Let me break wind for awhile!"

Yep, that's what I said. After a couple of km towing behind another commuter, as I pass him that's what comes out of my mouth. We were driving hard directly into a north wind. Luckily me face mask disguised the massive grin that covered my face after I realized what I had said. The real joke however, comes from the fact that I had Indian food last night.

When I got to work I said bye and he thanked me for the tow, so I must not have offended him too badly.

I've heard of the running farts, but never the pedaling farts!

You need to ask for permission to fart?

I mentioned this on the SS/FG forum where someone asked about what's the best breakfast before a race.
Broccoli and cheese omelette. Get a jersey that with the tagline that I've seen on many busses:
"This vehicle is powered by clean burning natural gas."

when i was saddle shopping a bike store salesman said a feature of the "tail bone relief" in a saddle was that you didn't have to stand up to fart when riding.
