Which light if at all? - Fast answer if possible.
OK here goes,
I am in the market for a nice bright light so I can see where I am going on unlit streets and hopefully in the future some mountain bike type riding at night. At the moment I am using a small and cheap 3 LED light that I am not really comfortable using as it's not too good too see everything with.
The trouble is, really good bright lights are rather expensive. So I shall ask, can you please help me with this problem of mine.
So, I have come across two lights that I might by second hand that haven't been used too much. Both are a bit over half the new price, so I would like your advice on them since I can't find any picutres of the type of beam. If you can give me a picture of a similar beam that would be great.
OK, the first one is the NiteRider Evolution Smart Light seen here (going for about $200)
https://www.niterider.com/prod_evolutionsmart.shtml#
Second is the Marwi Elite Seen here (going for about $100)
https://www.marwiusa.com/default.aspx...id=3&pid=49#42
All prices are in Australian dollars. So, good buy? Any suggestions? The description says the Marwi Elite has been upgraded to a 20W (fomr a 12W). So battery lenth goes down to about 90 mins (rather than 2 hours).
Should I buy? Will they do the job I want them to?
The guy says they are in good condition and have used them a bit offroad.
Thanks for your advice

Both lights look fine to me.
The Niterider has many intensity levels, but the Marwi has 12 V bulb (a guess based on running time, power and battery capacity), which would be a good thing in my books (nothing wrong with 6V though if you can easily find bulbs for it).
Given these two choices I would take the light with better battery condition. Buying used batteries is in general not a good idea. But if you have some way of testing the battery condition on each light (or can easily get refund) you should be fine.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
