Bike Commute Seminar

The Bike Commute Seminar that I put on at my workplace was a huge success! 12 out of 100 employees showed up and after two hours straight I had several people say that it was informative and they intended on attempting commuting/using their bike for something other than joyrides. It felt really good to spread the word more than my normal self.

Eeek! Powerpoint? Just say no. You want to engage and inform rather than bore and sedate.

Finally, just this week there's data showing what anyone who's been trapped in a presentation has always suspected.

It's Official: Powerpoint bad for brains -- The menace of slideware

Powerpoint is pointless -- Professor recommends it gets the bullet

This is one of those garbage in garbage out scenarios.

Powerpoint is a tool. People can use tools to their peak effectiveness or use them incorrectly.

All that aside...nice way to spread the word David.

I'd like to see it and maybe do something similar!
