Not today, but on more than one occasion this past winter I made it to work during snowstorms before my driving colleagues.

Found it online... Did I mention that my bike weighs 42 lbs in its normal configuration? Heh... I leave it outside stores unlocked fairly regularly. Nobody wants my fredly bike. heh heh

It's about time for a new sig, though... been using that one a while.

Back when the snow and ice hit Seattle, I made it in when very few people dared venture out onto the streets.
This morning, it was more of a struggle for me to make it in than my co-workers. Up late working last night, then up an hour earlier than usual this morning because the puppy wouldn't leave me alone after my fiancee left for an early meeting.
My incentive to bike it in right now is that my Jeep is currently full of everything I unloaded from my storage unit over the weekend. And I've only got enough gas in it to get to the gas station.

I've come in on days when *I* wouldn't have come in if I had to drive (way too icy) but most people seem to be willing to be morons in their cars. The weather's actually been pretty nice here the last week, if a bit chilly.

The first day back to work after the blizzard in December I pedaled so my wife could have the 4WD to take my daughter to school. I made it all of the 20mi round trip. My wife got stuck once she got off of our driveway and into our umplowed street. She got back on the driveway and abandoned further exploration.
