Dash for my '06 Volpe. I think I've managed to keep it relatively simple.

Totally copping donnamb's style. (Best form of flattery, no?)

The bell (and bars) are from Soma. It says RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT! And it's nice and loud.

I'm thinking about some evergreen garland with sparkly stars for the holidays.

yes, I know the bar is 48cm, not mm. I mis-typed it

All pretty similar. The NR mount is on the handlebar of my MTB but I'm using it on my helmet in the photo.

Stuff I have on the handlebar of my Dahon Curve foldie. Bell, S-Sun light, Infiniti blinker (can be removed and clipped on yourself or your backpack), and Strada Wireless cyclocomputer.

I'll have to fire up the camera tomorrow and make sure the batteries are charged... I have a lot of dashboards.

Here is one I took of my Specialized over the summer with two NR HIDs on the bar. I've since purchased a Lupine Wilma light and will acquire a Lupine Betty soon so I think it's safe to retire the NR HIDs finally.

Wow some really nice bikes here and some cool ideas for equiping up some lighting. Are those rubber bands on the silver lighting on the other persons bike?

Sammyboy 07-28-08 06:29 AM

Dinnotte Lights fit with thick elastic o-rings. Not quite elastic bands, but similar.

My Electra Townie Balloon 3 dashboard. The extra bar on the right is a heavy duty moped mirror modified for use as a bow mount. More pictures and details in this thread: http://www.bikeforums.net/utility-cycling/444390-bow-mounted-electra-townie-balloon-3-bicycle-bowfishing.html

Why am I finding myself so strangely and erotically aroused by these pictures? all of them. Mmmm, yes....

Sorry for the late response - only just spotted this (I don't subscribe to threads I've vandalised :p :D )

I use battery powered lights. I'd like a Lupine Betty14 but can't afford it.

http://www.lupine.de/2009/en/product...sets/betty/14/

The current set up uses all AA batteries so, if you can find some good rechargeables, is ok compared to the bottle battery systems.

Waterproofing on Cateye battery lights used to be a problem but some cling film/saran wrap can solve that problem.

The mounts tend to rattle loose if they're constantly unclipped so I try and leave the lights on the bike. This isn't always possible if you're locking the bike up in a public place.

Front

2x Cateye EL510 (replaced by EL530) either mounted on the bars or on a Minoura Space Grip

http://www.cateye.com/en/product_detail/345
http://www.minoura.jp/index-et.html - see English/Bicycle/Accessories/"head light holder"

Rear

Cateye TL-LD600 on the seat post and a Cateye TL-LD1000 on the saddle bag. Replaced with 2x Cateye TL-LD1100.
