I'm really enjoying all the dashboard photos here. Some of you aren't fooling around!

Wanderer, thanks for the shameless plug. ;)

Wanderer was actually the inspiration to create the version of the Dashboard Genie he is rockin'. I was sceptacle at first but he was right. I'm glad I listened.

For those looking for something a little...well...less, we now have the Dashboard Genie ECON-NO-ME.

Another shout out for the Bdop Cycling Sooper Deluxe extender. Still space on it for my new POV camera, and the handlebars are now free for my hands again!

OH! You want to use your hands on your handlebars?

Alright, I have searched and tried to find the real name of that Bdop thing. What is the real name of it? I need one. I have no room for my left hand anymore. Keep falling off my bike.

that extra bar-end for the mirror is pretty funny. I wonder if anyone has strapped bar ends onto drop bars? one of my bikes has regular drops and I have an extra set of bar ends that aren't doing anything ...

That is why I never ask directions. I have been looking for it for an hour. As soon as I ask I scroll up and find the link in above post. Sorry.

What a good idea. I have drop bars and finding space for everything is a PITA.

I have found that I have enough room on the steerer tube under my stem to remove some spacers and fit another stem. I intended to cut down a flat bar, clamp it to the 2nd stem, and use it as a mount for my lights, etc. The problem was always going to be reaching the mounted components whilst on the move, compounded by the interference from cables.

I am still going to give it a try, but if it doesn't work out I will try a Dashboard Genie. It looks like it could solve a several problems at once.

The main downside with both options is that I won't be able to fit a handlebar bag, which was fairly high on my list of priorities.

Mine seems plain by comparison:

Why 5 lights? Why these 5? What type of handlebar extender is that?

speaking from experience, the third one is horrible, the one in the middle. It is just a dot on the path/road and is a be seen light. I have one. It works great as a flashlight if I need one though.

Current set up. Going to get a bar bag and possibly swap out to 44cm wide bars soon. The GPS is rarely on the bike except when I am doing long rides.

Grim --

How do you attach your Garmin GPS V to the handlebars? I have one also, just curious.

Thanks, John
