Garmin offered a handle bar mount. I cant remember if I got that off eBay or Amazon. It was a bout $25. Search GPSV on either site and you should find it.

Now I am trying to figure out how to mount my recently aquired iPhone in the Otterbox. Still like the GPSV better for navigating though.

A fun thread. Glad to see it back in action. I particularly like the coffee cup holders, bells/horns and pepper spray. I'm not really a gadget person so my dash is pretty nondescript so I'm not posting it. A blinkie and a self-mounted Task Force flashlight. Not even a computer.

I have a couple motorcycles so I had a RAM mount bracket for my Nuvi, but I found a better mount for it for the motorcycle so I zip tied the leftover to the stem. Then I ordered some stuff from Deal Extreme for giggles. I got the compass/bell, cell phone mount, Cree L.E.D flashlight, and an....umbrella holder. Why you may ask, as I'm probably never going to use it for holding an umbrella. Well, I thought I could use it for a great start at camera mount. I threw the stuff on there today and am curious how god-awful you guys think this set up is.

I plan on using this for short in town commutes, running errands, and some longer rides on local bike trails.

What the hell do you need all that crap for? Seriously, Captain Dashboard...

Here's what I run with. 17 mile commute each way:

I'm in awe. Good luck getting the camera mount to work.

And be careful not to take a spill over those handlebars!

Staying positive here: that tower could attract songbirds to the neighborhood..

haha. Like I said, I ordered the stuff for giggles. I just got it the other day and I don't plan on riding the bike for a few months, I have another bike fo riding in the snowy slush. More than likely I wont have most of the stuff on at one time. I just threw it all on there to take a picture for this thread. I do like the bird nest at the top though. New background

Gotta love the vintage friction shifters on current model bikes. I installed stem mounted Shimano Fingertip shifters on my '08 Xtracycle. Paid extra to do that.

Its a personal thing. Its hard to describe, just love the feeling of friction shifting. It feels more connected or something like that.

Time to revive this thread. I don't have a dashboard picture, so I'll just say that I like that old computer.

None taken... and to those who who don't think Klingons have a sense of humor... I offer this:

A Klingon walks into a bar... (Everybody else had to be carried out)
