I may (will) be exposing my inner nerd here - Wash. The reason? It's a Trek Allant. Alan T(udyk) played Wash in Firefly/Serenity. It's ok, I'm a leaf on the wind...

2010 big box schwinn wind wood with cedar 12-pack box on the rear rack - Pub cruiser
1993 Yokota tandem - The tandem (maybe someday I 'll get some miles on this and it will get a name)
1986 Nishiki Riv GT - Tangled up in Blue that bike was supposed to be a one season bike and and has ended up being my weekend trekking bike.
2010 Torker Graduate, grey and black daily commuter, shopper, long pub runs, short tours, and it has secrete name which I don't speak out loud or type.
But;
she really gets me high
you know that's no lie
she is always ready
and she is so rock steady

"Rusty Schwinn French" - 1978 Schwinn Super LeTour 12.2 [sold]
"Ruby Specialized Pro French" - 2006 Specialized Ruby Pro
"Lucifer Giant Avail 1 French" - 2012 Giant Avail 1
Rusty was in pristine condition and a nice silver matte color, the name was more that he had spent most of his life in a closet or in a garage and didn't get enough miles.
When I was preparing for RAGBRAI, Rusty decided that Ruby needed a "gang name" and dubbed her "Rhubarb". Her color is a beautful deep red with subtle color variations. Her personality is quaint, quirky and tart. RAGBRAI host towns make a lot of rhubarb pie for the riders.
Lucifer is a black and white bike with harsh aluminum ride and cheaper components. She is named after the cat in Cinderella. Alternately she is called Lucy Crabapple after Charlie Brown's nemesis in Peanuts. Despite reflecting the geometry on Rhubarb, Lucy still isn't dialed in and makes my knees hurt. She will be the trainer bike/backup bike/utility/commuter and a test bed to experiment with gearing using Shimano 105 components rather than the $$ Dura-Ace on Rhubarb.

Got my new/old Kona Coiler about three months ago; practically from day one, I've referred to that lovely beast as "Dead Sexay".
It's also just "Kona" -- as in "Kona says, 'Im Dead Sexay...' ".
I've never personalized a bike like that before...........

If she is standing still, her name is Petunia Renee. If I am riding her, she is the annihilatrix.

"My bike," and, if necessary, "my other bike."
"How'd you get to work today?"
"I took my bike."
"I thought your bike was in the shop?"
"Yeah, I took my other bike."

Moonracer. She's a 1987 Schwinn Tempo in the aqua color, so I thought I'd give a shout out to something else aqua-colored from the mid-80's.

I call my red Trek 2.3 race bike Boadicea. I pulled a lovely '72 Motobecane out of a garbage pile and made her a single speed. She was always "My French Girl"

i've owned 15 bikes and i prefer an impersonal numerical system. imo, getting too attached to your bikes leads to madness (and retro-grouchery).
commuter #5: stumpjumper comp '94 that is now a grocery getter (32 mm smooth tread, panniers)
commuter #10: trek 7.9 frame, lx front disc, 105-ultegra
commuter #11: orbea diem frame, xt hydros, ultegra compact
road bike #3: generic taiwanese nude carbon frame with ultegra gruppo and fsa slk crank.
