South Bay to Downtown Los Angeles
Anyone have any routes / guidance on a bike commute from Torrance to downtown Los Angeles. I've looked at metro.net's bike map and have a planned route identified for Bike To Work Week, but thought I would check to see if anyone has ever done this and has any advice.
If someone does it regularly (or would be interested in doing it) I would love to find a partner to commute with.
Thanks,
JC

Check with the Southern California Regional Forum in Bike Forums. They might know the routes better.
Me, I would have come up Crenshaw to Martin Luther King, taken King over to Broadway. But that was decades ago.

You could use the TT #1 or make your way up the South bay beach trail to Santa Monica and take the bus from there. Depending on where you are in torrance, maybe the TT #3 to blue line to 7th/metro.
Or just a thought here, the 232 MTA to lax/96th, then transfer. Heck, I would try riding up 223th/Wardow to blue line. I think you might have to use a combo of bus/bike to get to downtown LA. Just my 2 cents.
