Fixed gear commuters, send me your pix!

Hey all fixed gear commuters: Do you want your bike on a directory of fixed gear commuter bicycles that I am building? Please send clear pictures and a description to fixedgearcommuter@gmail.com and I will include them and give you the URL when it is all done.

Take care!

Fixies suck, can you make one on 3speeds ?
Really though, Im a dedicated fixie/SS commuter but my
bike is not noteworthy for this type of page in any way
so I wouldnt waste your time, but are you going to make
the link public so we can check it out ?

He -=Łem in Pa=- Yes it will be public once the site goes online. I am currently building it, but I need to get started on the gallery so that part is being done before I launch the site. It'll probably be a lot like fgg, but with the commuter slant (the gallery, that is. The rest, much different.)

If you have any suggestions, I'm open to them but I'm not soliciting for them.

Do send in your bike, don't let its looks deter you. The site will be about *working* bikes, not pretty weekend riders.

Have you seen the Fixed Gear Gallery?
Looks to be similar to your directory.
I think every bike is worthy of inclusion. The first bike I submitted to the fixed gear gallery was an old hybrid I had fixed using a cog and BB lock ring. My current commuter is not much prettier. However I do have a new CrossCheck that nearly complete that I am real excited about. Its still probably not the most gorgeous bike but it is exactly what I want.

Yes, a list of every LBS in the country with a rating system so people can leave feedback about the shop...

I'll send you a shot of the bike in winter trim (I've since taken down the fenders and mounted skinnier tires for the summer).
