Switch from Avatar 143 to Brooks
Hi--
Just got a Spec Tricross bike--my first new bicycle since my trusty Peugeot UO-8. The tricross bike came with an Avatar 143 (body geometry gel are the other words on the saddle). It's a painful ride.
Back when I had the Peugeot, I got a Brooks saddle and loved it instantly. I think they only made one saddle at the time, which I think is now called the B17. Can anyone who has been around for awhile tell me about the differences among the current Brooks non-sprung saddles? I'm looking for a similar feel to what I had years ago.
Thanks in advance!

Funny, I've been riding my Tricross for over a year, and thinking about dumping the stock saddle for a Brooks. I'm going to get a B17 because it's inexpensive, and looks like it's just the ticket for the more upright ride of the Tricross.
