Short Commute Options. . .

Ok, so I'm looking for a bike for short commutes in most all types of tame weather, meaning some rain. I'm thinking a modern internal hub 3 speed. Right now I'm throwing around three models: the Townie, the Breezer Freedom, and the KHS Green.

The Townie looks and feels great. I really like this bike. Lot's of style points (in my opinion) and it's extremely comfortable. One worry, I love Brooks saddles and saddle bags, I'm not sure if the saddle's close proximity to the wheels will affect my ability to use a saddle bag. I would also have to buy a rack and fenders for the Townie seperately, not that big of a deal though.

The KHS Green is not a very attractive bike (in my opinion) and looks cheaply made. That said, it's got the same Shimano Nexus 3 speed as the others. This bike comes with fenders, a rack, a rear wheel lock, etc. It's the cheapest by about $100 and has more features than both the Townie and the Breezer. This makes me question whether or not it is cheaply made.

The Breezer Freedom seems ideal. It's a really nice bike, but it's also more expensive than the other two choices. Is it that much better? What set's this bike apart from the KHS Green. Well, the frame obviously, but do you think it's that big of a deal?

Tough call, I would love recommendations. Also, today I test rode the Townie and really enjoyed it. I have located local stores that carry the other models but have not had a chance yet to test the Breezer or KHS yet.

edit: I didn't realize the poll would be a separate thread. If that is annoying I will delete it.
