Rear rack for discs

I've searched the forums for information on disc specific rear racks and I can't find much information.

Is anyone running a rear rack that's made for disc brakes and/or are there any particular brands that people recommend?

Thanks!

I just got the Topeak Explorer Disc, and I like it a lot. It's a bit tight for tire clearance on my 700c bike, but other than that the fit and finish is very nice.

yeah I also have the topeak explorer disc. I carry one or two panniers with it and so far I love it. really sturdy. I have carried about 30-40 lbs with no problem. It looks funny from the back because it sits farther out laterally than most racks. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a good solid rack.

Tubus and Old Man Mountain both make wonderful racks for disc brakes, although they are not cheap.

For Tubus contact Wayne at The Touring Store, he's extremely helpful and an all around good egg.

I have a Trek Interchange rack that fits fine on my frame (700c wheels with discs). If you are mounting them outside the frame -- and you should be -- many racks will work.

I got the Toopeak Explorer Disc thru Amazon for $26.99 with free delivery in two days. It is a good looking rack and a good price.

Great advice, thanks!

I've always been interested in getting a rack from OMM, so I might look into getting one now.
