Two firsts today!

My first commute on a road bike. A 1989 Miyata 718a set up with a rack and panniers.

My first commute in the rain.

The bike is great and the rain didn't bother me.

Life is good!

Nice going - so long as you're dressed properly most weather is passable and fun

Congrats for making the move!

The temps are about 65. I was in shorts, jersey, and shoes. No need for a jacket.

The worst part of riding in the rain is the thought of it.

In New England we have nine months of winter and three months of damned poor sledding.
