Trek SU300 vs Trek 7.3 FX
Hi
The difference in the size of the wheels does not matter too much to me as both bikes provide a comfortable upright riding position.
I just need general info regarding these 2 bikes.
I have read a lot about the trek fx 7.3 but there is no info on the Trek SU300.
I was wondering if it is as good as it looks on paper?

If you had the choice between these two bikes which one would you choose. I need it to commute in London which is a typical s.h.i.t.t.y city with angry motorists and very busy roads.
My commute is 7.5 miles each way but I want a bike which will be very durable in the city. Controlling the bike and its lightness and comfort of the journey are very important to me.
I understand that I have to test ride the trek su300 to be able to make a real decision. I have already test ridden the Trek 7.3 fx and I liked it.
I would just like to hear the opinions of experienced commuters regarding the su300 and its suitability for commuting compared to the FX 7.3.

I am also thinking of getting an adjustable stem to improve the upright riding position for the Trek SU 300. Does that sound like a good idea?
