My new commuter -bandwidth warning, bike pron.

Those of you who browse the for sale forums may know I've been trying to sell my Breezer Uptown 8. A fellow forum member bought my Breezer on the very day I picked up my new Surly. I'm just showing off as I am excited. But my LBS gets most of the credit. He built it up and helped me with all of the choices. He also built the wheels. I'm sure having a blast going to and from work this week.

Tom

vedy nice, vedy nice indeed.

Is it me or are those cranks long? Must be 175's. I like the look of the FSA cranks with the black finish, really ties it all together. Looks like a B17 and the tires must be 32's or bigger I think?

Thanks.

The cranks for 172.5, tires are 35's and yep it's a B17. I should have posted the parts list with the original.

Oh, the bike picture w/garage door background police have dictated no caps on the valve stems, and no saddle bag either. Just saying...

I'd love to be commuting on that.
I'd add a light instead of the rear reflector on the rack. But otherwise, WOW.

Thanks. I used my Nikon D200 with the 85 1.4 portrait lens. That lens does equally well with women and bikes. ;-)

That is a beauty.

Curiosity: What about the Breezer did not agree with you?

Beautiful build. What is that silver doohickey coming off the rear brake cable in the fourth picture?

Barrel adjuster. You see them on some road bikes as well.

So, that's what my bike looked like. After a year and a half mine isn't quite so shiney anymore.

Looks a lot like my Nova (down to the BB and the BioMax handlebars), which must mean it's nice

Seriously, a beautiful bike. Out of curiosity, why did you go for the Ultegra brifters when the drivetrain is 105? I've never used Ultegra, so maybe I'm just ignorant...
