This forum is actually one of the very best sources of information I have ever found....not a link to informaiton....but an actual source!
I like to consider myself a relatively smart feller and yet I can't believe how much I have learned here about how to handle given situations that may or may not seem intuitive to others.
I am sure if you put together a well designed survey, you would have plenty of people fill it out. I know I would. This is a helpful group.

You might want to include some interesting statistics. The U.S. census tracks the number of bicycle commuters, although I couldn't find data for any time since 1990.

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/02/ny...02commute.html
http://lomaprieta.sierraclub.org/lp0...mmuteTime.html
http://www.census.gov/population/soc...y/usmode90.txt

you could mention the costs of bicycle commuting vs. the costs of car commuting.

Great articles on bike commuting, more opinion than statistics, but should give you some good ideas and quotes. Just remember to cite everything.
