Recommended mtn wheels for a rough commute?

I want to replace the wheels on my bike. They're no name 26" x 1" rim break wheels. I'd like to keep it under $150 for a set which looks like a stretch if look at nashbar or performance. My main criteria is that I want something strong because i have to deal with some monster potholes.

I bought the Deore LX hub / Sun Rhyno Lite rim combo from Pricepoint for $95. I picked these because of their reputation for being tough (and really inexpensive), as I commute through some nasty roads every day. Since I've only been riding them for a couple weeks now, I can't say much about them. I am impressed with the apparent quality of the parts and construction. They are not super-light, but weight a little less than the no-names that they replaced. The rims have a reputation for being hard to get tires on and off, but I have not experienced this. Anyway great price, and so far so good.

Update: Love these wheels. I've ridden a few hundred more miles, sometimes in heavy rain, plenty of curbs and potholes. They are holding up great. Totally true still; No issues at all.
