a couple of newbie questions about tires and wheels...

ok, i bought a cyclocross bike with 700 x 32 knobby tires. does this mean that the wheels that came with my bike will only take 700 x 32 tires? or can i put something smaller in there like 700 x 28?
(The wheels are bontrager CX (i think) - they are on the 06 poprad).

There's no rim that I know of that only takes one size tire. I have Mtbike wheelset that originally had 26x2.1" (equivalent to a 53mm road tire) and I now have 1.25" (32mm) slicks on the wheels for communting. And I have 700x35 tires on a bike that I used to run 700x23. 700x28 for your wheels should be no problem, but you can check sheldon brown's site for rim/tire compatibility to be sure.

Is there a web site where one can learn about acceptable ranges per rim?
