Makes me wonder how much of it is the not-so-technically-gifted stock-boy slapping the bikes together without really knowing what to check. I thought recalls were for defective products, not urging people to call in to find out how to tighten bolts.

It's not just the ones that go to WallyWorld. Recalls happen continuously in every industry as a mater of course.
