Punished by the bike gods?

Sorry, this is my rant.............

I think I angered the bike gods today! I drove my car today since I had to go 4 miles to school and then 6 hilly miles to school from work and then 10 miles home after school, and well, I was just being lazy....

Well, first off, my junker car decided it would die at a red light about a mile from work. Luckily a guy in a delivery truck helped me push it out of the road and onto a sidewalk (there was no parking lots near). Then after 10 minutes of turning the key over, it finally started. Then I drove it to the gas station to get a drink. (the old cage habits seem to come back with the cage). Well somewere between paying for my energy drink and getting to work, I lost my wallet. ID, debit card, SS card, luckily no cash but tons of cards that are important to me and tons that I have no idea what they are for . Well I got home before I noticed it and I just assumed I left it at work and I would find it tomarrow. I go online to check my balance and some *****hole bought some chicken at chick-fil-a with my card!!!! I filed a dispute and I wont have to pay the $17 for the chicken and they will send me a new card in 5 days. Hopefully that is the only thing they bought when they went to THE MALL with my card!! So now I am broke all week and I get to spend 2 hours each sitting at the DMV and the SS office!!!!!

Maybe the bike gods are telling me to sell the car? But soon I will be living 15 miles from school and I will still be working, I guess I better start doing some longer rides!

And oh yea, I guess this is more of a reason for me to keep not eating chicken!

End of rant

That sucks, man

Last week I called in sick to work because I had stayed up too late the night before. It was a beutiful day, the day before Thanksgiving. High seventies, I'm going to ride my new Monocog 29er and the Hardtail SS I just built up. So I get about two miles from the trailhead and crash down a hill, spraining my ankle pretty bad. Luckily, it was only about half a mile back to a road, and I road out. Now I sit at work with a swollen ankle and I wonder, did I do something wrong?

Thou hast angered the Gods of Two Wheels. Penance may redeem thee. Thy first act of penance shall be a full century in the dark and rain on country roads, carrying a chicken on your helmet. Upon completion of this quest shall ye be judged again and thy worth determined. Act with honor and speed, and ye may avoid additional acts of vengeance.
