Mittens Worn with a Windbreaker

I know it's a little geeky, but what are you gonna do? Too warm for the winter coat but too cold for gloves (it's in the upper 20'sF and upper 20's mph wind).

Loved the ride in today--first time I was the only one on the MUP since last spring/winter.

Some days I don't see anything, but today I enjoyed the low, thick clouds and the wind. It was impressive.

I have moved to the army surplus mittens which look absolutely ridiculous if I'm wearing a windbreaker or winter coat.

But my hands are toasty warm. I figure the chances of someone taking notice of my huge mittens is pretty slim, even if it hurts my own good taste.
