The best part of this "not anonymous" blog rant is the potential future repercussions. If this person is ever involved in an incident with a cyclist a civil litigator or prosecutor will have a field day. This blogger's words may one day come back and bite them on the ass.

Now I don't know that it meant she had to sit behind these guys for miles or just until the road straightened out 1/4 mile later.
I was making a generic comment related to the bulk of the complaints I hear, not this specific incident.

Even my wife believes that a bike has the right to be in the road "as long as they're going the speed of traffic" -- and will explain that they shouldn't be holding up traffic. It pisses me off to no end.

But on the bright side, if she's ever accused of attacking Britney Spears she'll have her public displays of affection to defend herself with.

She's just ranting for her friends anyway - and doesn't seem to have a thought in her head that wasn't placed there by the pop culture advertising machine.

Today's youth live in a culture of entitlement. The world revolves around their wants and desires, without any consideration for others.

Funny

It's a common view, and one that even I can slip into while I'm driving. I have no problem with a slow moving bike taking the lane, - as long it's me and I don't have to drive behind myself.

C'mon guys, take it easy on her....she's getting married in May for pete's sake!

Seriously, I 'hate' it when people like her get their shorts up in a bunch and lump us all together with those groups that do ride like that....bunches of cyclists taking up a lane and just chatting and not paying attention to what's behind them....well, I'm thinkin' that would enrage just about anybody....

Personally, when I'm approaching a group of cyclists while in my car, I'll bump the horn a couple of times just to let them know I'm there and then when I see them start to single or double file, I'll make a safe pass on the left....usually waving at them when I go by.....hopefully they see my cycling friendly bumper stickers on my pickup truck and notice the 3-bike bike rack in the bed.

....if they make no attempt to move over, I'll follow behind them , accelerating slightly, bumping them off the road, one by one.....

Indeed. She's clearly unfamiliar with the concept of irony as well. https://ajafern.wordpress.com/2008/01/21/humble/

Much less the here. There are much more important issues that need to be discussed. Like which helmet would look best with the bike. A&S on the other hand... That would be a barrel of laughs. Oooo I have an evil idea, lets post it there and enjoy the bickering.

Humbled on to the stage,
writting in forzen lines,
taking blogs by the dogs.
Reaching for the some gears,
making news on the humble pie.
Mixed up on the wrong ice,
Cream left with the winnings.
Left you holding the humbled world.
that left ahead of your rule.

Well. For being "Totally Dedicated", we've seen how long it takes for you to recall your posts when the pressure you asked for above becomes too much.

Thanks for playing. Try again next week.

While you need a micrometer caliper to measure it, even a puddle has depth... And I've got to admit, her spelling counts as 'creative'.

For what it's worth, she has now deleted her blog posts as well as all the responses, which she specifically solicited in this thread. Apparently the *****storm was a bit too much for her after all, and I hope against hope that she'll take something constructive from the experience.
