question on disk brakes

How long on average would you expect disk pads to last, mostly flat riding of 400km per week with approx 100km of hills per week.

Many lights so plenty of stopping an starting sometimes from a pretty high 40plus kph

I have done over 2500km thus far and wonder how long before they will need replacing

It's impossible to say as it's dependent on your riding conditions and style.

BTW, where are there hills around Melbourne? I don't remember there being many when I lived there.

Daily commuting, bad weather riding, many hills, hauling groceries, and playing bike polo,I get about 9 months out of my font pads and about a year out of my rears. I don't run a computer, but I'd say the fronts lasted for a good 2.5k miles.
