Anyone know where to get a Trek SU 2.0?

I know that they are $549 on their website and I went to my local shop and they could not do any better? Got any suggestions for getting a better price. What about other bikes around the same price that might be better.

I called my LBS about a 3.0 and though they didn't have one in stock, they offered to order one and gave me a price that was over $100 less than MSRP. I ordered it through them and now have the bike (wish the weather would warm up a bit so I can ride it!). If your LBS won't give you anything off the price, tell them you'll find another that will, and go looking for one that will.

Yes, I have. I live in Richmond, VA. Agee's has three location within like 25 miles and they are about the only ones who are trek dealers, unless I go to Williamsburg, but if is saves me money I am more than willing to drive a little bit.

Yup, I now have a 2008 Trek Soho 3.0. I'd try calling a few shops. The first shop I called simply said "we don't have any", as did the second shop. The third looked into their Trek dealer info and told me that no one had any at the time, but that they would order one if I liked. Happily, the price they offered me was excellent as well, so I had them order one, which ended up taking a bit longer to receive due to Trek not getting them out of the factory as quickly as they should have.
