Kindness comes in small doses
I was riding home about thirty minutes ago down the busiest street in town. There is a lot of ambient light and I don't have a very powerful headlight, so I stick to that street. It's a four lane with traffic that ranges from 45-35, so it's really not that big of a deal. Anyway, I hit a large bump (the downside of having a weak headlight ) and my headlight fell off. Boom, I've stopped and laid my bike down on the grass to the side of the road immediately. I take a look back and see the car behind me has stopped just in front of my light. I sprint the few meters to grab it and make a huge show of waving my appreciation before cursing at myself for not having my light attached better.
So here's to you, stranger. I'm drinking one in your honor. Prosit!
