how do i adjust saddle tilt?
Hi guys,
I have a saddle very similar to one of these

as you can see it has rails but no obvious way of tilting it. i have it on a specialized globe sport disc (stock saddle).
thanks

Loosen the nut/bolt that holds the seatpost clamp tight to the saddle rails. Tilt your saddle to where you want it, also slide it fore/aft if necessary. Then tighten the same bolt.

To put it more obviously: Tilt is in the seatpost clamp, not in the saddle itself. All saddles (save for some oddities) are completely fixed like yours.

as you can see there are 2 bolts one at the front and one at the back.
am i right in saying i need to loosen both of these then slide the saddle forward?
thanks

To slide the saddle fore or aft you probably would loosen both bolts. To adjust tilt however, you will probably need to loosen one, then tighten the other to compensate. So, to lift the nose up some (for example) you would loosen the rear bolt, then tighten the front. The rear bolt should then "feel" tight.

Bike ≠ Car ≠ Ped.
It could be SO snug that it's not going to come loose without really yanking on it. Undo those bolts until they're very, very loose, than give a sharp bang on the nose or tail of the saddle.
I had to do that with one of mine. I nearly took it apart before the tilt adjustment would budge.
