Hows your area doing
In the DFW area DORBA has a "commie tracker" where we can log our miles commuted with a bicycle. We use the data to speak to state, county, and local governments, and the mass transit boards. So far we have 1 rider over 2000 miles for the year and 3 with over 100 commutes. We know there are a bunch of Dallas Ft. Worth area folks who don't log their miles. Many I catorigized as necessity commuters who don't have Internet access, many still don't know about the tracker ( I mean why would you go to a mountain bike group to log commuter miles ) And many just don't want to be part of a group. But over all I am pretty proud of the DFW area, know as one of the top 10 worst places to ride a bike
MAXAP was the 1st to reach 2000 miles this year, 2055

and Chris H, Acroy, and MAXAP all have over 100 commutes already this year.

Right now as a group we have 101 commuters logging miles, with 35117 miles ridden and 1971 trips saved. For an average of over 17.8 miles per commute. Pretty impressive.

I very much enjoyed the year I spent in DFW (Plano.) Very easy to get around by bike. Wish I would've done more of it.
