Cool concept, this would be great for the mutli commuter who rides the train or bus, or has parknig issues at work or home

You know, if I had to go that route and use what I call, a pocket bicycle, i would just go ahead and get a Strida . They seem to be sturdy, look kinda neat and can be folded to fit in a carrying case. As it stands, I don't park and ride so I ride my MTB into work.
