This guy needs to go ride a bike

Slightly foo-ish but funny imo. Somehow I doubt this guy is a commuter. Looks like he is headed in the right path, however.

Posted on Boise Craigslist today......$375. I tried to understand what the heck he was talking about but gave up. I know it has something to do with "World of Warcraft".

I am selling a 70 Female NE Druid on a PVE Server. I got Gladaitor Title is Season 3, so I have the 310% drake mount as well. I also have the Zul'Aman Bear mount. I Have full S3 Resto gear and Nearly full S3 and S4 Boomkin gear, besides helm and offhand which I use resto and a ZA damage ring. I am a 375 Jewelcrafter with all the epic plans and I am also a 375 Enchanter with alot of good enchants. I only have like 20 Gold on the toon but for the price you cant beat it. I recently stopped playing to get outdoors more and want to sell my account. The name can be changed and you can transfer it to any PVE server. If you have any questions let me know. Only Paypal or local cash sale.

HUH???????

For some reason, when I read it, I hear the voice of the deadly serious COMIC BOOK GUY on SIMPSONS.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_Book_Guy

Comic Book Guy was once married — in an online role-playing game. He and his Internet wife contemplated having children, but that would have severely drained his "power crystals."

Oh man, this is making me laugh out loud in my little corner of the cube farm.

I think I heard about some girl in Korea who died playing WoW because she didn't eat or drink for like 72 hours straight. The mind, it boggles.

Isn't the whole point to work one's way up through the levels, etc? How much fun can it really be if you can simply buy an existing account? Why not just buy someone's account who has "won" (if winning is possible) and be done with the whole thing?

Sadly, I know exactly what he's talking about. He's obviously spent a LOT of time (think tens of months) sat in front of a computer killing pixels.

I've always wondered about that.

If the guy is a 12th Level White Wizard wouldn't he have mastered control of his powers? To the point where he would be a danger to no one unless attacked, and even then have the ability to only respond to the attack with enough power to mitigate the threat and no more?

FWIW, it is against the rules to sell your WOW account. The software company actually "owns" your character.

I don't play, but know someone who does.

after a quick wikipedia search...WoW goes up to level 70. so a level 12 wizard in the game (am i allowed to call it a game?) would not be able to control his virtual prowess very well. so he would still probably be a danger to mortals unless a weapon choice is a U-lock, then he might wanna watch out

For the love of god man don't give them a link to a free trial!

Very addictive game.

I played when it first came out, (the best time for any online game), and managed a couple of lvl 60's pre the xpack. Good fun as I was with an adult guild; but the amount of time you have to spend playing it to get any decent equipment is just silly. Also the amount of concentration/effort needed with high level raiding again is ridiculous. The player v player was the best, Tauran Mill anyone?

I used to play to just unwind after work, as I just cannot passively sit and watch TV I need to be doing things if I'm not in the mood to read. So this was ideal, and unlike what most people think you do have to use some brain power.

I could not though commit to 4-5 hours needed raiding with others. People should give it a go to understand it's appeal, we had some seriously nice folk in my guild, most people worked full time with families, so the image of the spotty teen is not 100% right.
