Tail light questions

I like the dionette taillights and haedlights but one thing concerns me. Are they removeable when I go inside to do shopping or such? I'd like to get my bike set up with some lights but I don't want to spend that much money and come out and find that someone has ripped them from their wiring. Is there any other lights that are equal brightness that are removable or how do you folks protect your investment?

I can remove my 600L and taillight pretty fast. The batteries are just velcro'd on the bike and the 600L mount is super easy to work. The taillight is mounted with a rubber o-ring. About 2 minutes to remove and the same to reinstall.
