I bought the Fuji Cross Pro from Performance 2 weeks ago - it's a fantastic bike, especially for the money! I don't think anyone could go wrong buying one of these bikes.

It's not on the web site, but a lot of the Performance Stores have Fuji bikes in them. The Fuji site has been acting up all day, so you may not be able to get the full specs....but if you go here, you can see the specs for the 2007 bike. The 2008 has a different paint scheme - instead of silver/black, it's white with black and red.
Here's a pic:
Here's the specs for the Cross Comp:
And a pic:
The BikesDirect counterparts are similar (same frame/geometry), but these have upgraded drivetrains (Ultegra with a DA rear for the Cross Pro, 105 with an Ultegra Rear for the Cross Comp), vs. Ultegra front/rear for the BD Fantom Cross Pro, and Tiagra for the Fantom Cross. With today's sale, the prices were within $100 for a bike with slightly better specs, so I went the LBS route. I'll be able to get it fitted properly and set up for me, and I also scored $118 in accessories with the PBS club points...so, I really couldn't pass it up.

Fuji site has been down for quite a few days. Performance stores will order any Fuji you want, and with the 15% off, they will beat your LBS. They were $75 less on a fuji touring I have my eye on. But for me, the $75 wasn't worth the drive and hassle to the outlet store, plus guilt for bypassing the LBS. But then there is the $80 in team points, bringing the difference up to $155.... HMMMM. But I will probably support the LBS, since if they weren't there to let me try it I probably wouldn't have an interest in the bike.

I think they were selling a lot of those today. Spoke with a guy about to test ride one at the Reston store while I was buying some misc. stuff. If I hadn't just built up a Bianchi Castro Valley frame into a cross-style commuter, I'd have been looking at one myself.
