Google Maps or My Computer?

I planned my commute route using Bikely.com And they use a Google map overlay to map your routes. My route on Bikely one way mileage total is 13.8 miles. But my specialized wireless computer I have on my bike say's I have traveled 14.8 miles.

I have set my computer using the method of using a tape measure on the ground and measure the total distance traveled in one revolution of the wheel. Then divide that number by whatever (Can't remember exact directions) to get the MM number to input into the computer. They say this is the most accurate.

So, who's right? Google or my computer? Anyone else have this with their computer?

Your computer. The Google map prolly just takes the distance down the middle of the roads. Your computer is also showing the extra distance from things like changing lanes, going around intersections, and climbing/decending hills.
