Montane Halo is supposedly stretch too... shame that Montane is so hard to get here in the US.

A few of those Westcomb jackets look very nice, but they are ridiculously expensive. Their site needs to have more information on it because It's hard to tell the differences between all the jackets.

You can get the Stormrider for a decent price (same as Showers Pass Elite 2.0) at ChainReactionCycles.com. Orders over $250 ship free to the U.S.

Anyone have a tip for using the rear blinky loop on the back of the Showers Pass Elite 2.0? If I put my PB Superflash in it, it just points straight down. Can you only use a very small blinky?

it's useless. cut it off with scissors.

most taillights are highly dependent on proper aiming to be effective - clearly the hang tab on center of jacket back is just a bad idea.

I have/had the Showers Pass Elite 2.0 jacket and it was terrible. The eVent lining (my problem started in the cuffs) completely delaminated on me after 6 months of light use.

Do not even bother contacting them. They just make you waste your time. They had me send them several emails detailing exactly what the problem was, what happened, how long owned the jacket, etc. etc.

They take days to reply to each email. Then they requested that I email them photos of the problem, which I dutifully did. After all this their position was you can mail it back to us for "repairs". I live in the UK and this is a huge hassle/expense for a defect in their product.

I would never but another ShowerPass product. If anyone wants photos, email correspondence with them, more detail, etc. please let me know.

Rain Jacket

Got the Performance Cycling jacket in the early 90's when I bought my MTB Cannondale SE 2000. Gore-Tex was used as waterproofing for the Performance Cycling Wear. I wonder how this brand compares to the 2 rain jackets mentioned above.
Bought 3 jackets at that time and now my son Marc (In the picture) who is 14 Yrs. old got one of the jackets.

Now that this thread is active again I might as well add that my SP rain pants also had quality issues and a seam next to the pocket busted after less than a year of use.
