And you think you had a tough commute...

How about t-boning a black bear on your morning commute to work. The commuter in the article t-boned a bear, did an endo dismount and his wife came up later and took him to the hospital. No animals were injured in the exchange...

Did anyone else read this:

"The 300-pound bear rolled over Litz's head, cracking his helmet, and scratched his back before scampering up a hill above the road."

and think, "the bear was wearing a helmet?"

Litz's wife drove by shortly after the crash and took her husband to the hospital. He hoped to be able to return to teaching science at Target Range Middle School by Friday. (AP)

don't you think...after Columbine...that they would have renamed that school?

I did a JDRF ride in Whitefish MT this past Sat, at the pre-ride safety briefing they told us about this and also warned about sitings of mountain lions in the area. The lead pack did have a near miss with a fawn that lept across the road while they were on a 35+ mph downhill.
