New Handlebar and tape questions
I just switched out my riser bar for the Nashbar Trekking bar. I've attached some pics of the new bar and tape job. This is my first tape job, so it is far from perfect.
Is it possible to get a longer run of tape? This doesn't seem to go all the way around the top like i would like. Should I just use 2 sets for the job? How do you do that with it looking weird at the joint.
Is anyone else using trigger shifters like this on this style bar? I have 1-2 inches of exposed bar at the ends to allow me wider hand positions when braking.
If I move the shifters out, I'm not going to have nearly enough tape to cover the bar and the cables are already too close together. Any thoughts on what I can do?
Thanks!

I loooooooves the Trekking bars. I have them on two of my bikes and I didn't wrap mine as fat as you did, but the tape still didn't make it all the way to the stem. Tape made it just past where your bell is, but it's cool because I have the front tilted down so that when I'm up front my forearms rest on the rear bars. It makes getting into the "aero" crouch much more comfy.
