Spiffy, for sure... but I can't commute in a recumbant coffin with only limited visibility of what's directly in front of me. Can I get one with a trailer and a 360 degree periscope?

Fenders are in the shell, as is gear storage. As far as lighting goes the glow of the nose from air friction is all you need. Th edopplar effect would make the rear light look weird anyhow. As far as rear-ward and side-ward vision it's irrelevant - when you're going that fast everything behind you is getting farther behind you and anything to the side will quickly be behind you anyhow......
