Heated Jacket
For all you winter commuters out there I found this in a catalog that I go t at work today.
https://www.herringtoncatalog.com/ls714.html
Although a little on the steep side but its not too cumbersome.

Ugh, even at below-zero temps, my problem is not getting a jacket WARMER. Feet and hands, sure, but even with just a couple shirt layers and a windbreaker, I'm still sweating at -10*F.
I don't even zip up the pit zips on my vented jacket until the temps get down into the teens.
If your core is cold, you're not working hard enough.

Luckily I don't have to worry about getting cold 40f is about as cold as it gets so I am good with a light jacket and tights. But I thought it would be an idea for those who commuted 5-10 miles and weren't pushing too hard.

I agree with IJM (can I call you IJM?). Warm torso isn't the problem. My problem is warm fingers, toes, and face. Oh, and the jacket would have to be pink to appeal me... I like pink.

I don't think this is made for people who are actually active outside, I think it's for people who like to think that they might be active if only it weren't, you know, inconvenient and difficult.

It's about the extremities in winter... *all* of them. These help with hands and feet. A "gavel cozy" would rock for, umm, another extremity that can get cold (heh, turns out I get the first Google hit for "gavel cozy" from a previous BF post on the same topic).

ditto. only good for the dude in the pictures sitting on a cold rock using binoculars
on a bike. overkill. [on an MC, maybe good but gerbings is better]
all you need on a bike is warm wrists and warm feet. handwarmers will do that for ya if it
is really cold.
the torso will take care of itself if you have any type of shell and some layers.......
