Can Bicycling Change Your Lifestyle? - November Bicycle Lifestyle Web Event

Hello. My name is Darren Alff and I am the owner/creator of www.BicycleTouringPro.com. I've put together a big event for bicyclists that is going to take place at the end of this month and I thought I would share the event with you in case you might be interested.

The event, titled, 'Bicycle Travel As A Modern Lifestyle Choice,' will take place on the weekend of November 22nd and 23rd and will feature a jam-packed schedule of articles, interviews, videos, and live Q&A sessions having to do with bicycle travel, commuting, and lifestyle design. The event is aimed at anyone interested in learning how to use a bicycle to change the way they live, work and travel.

Event participants include:

- The Adventure Cycling Association
- Author, Joe Kurmaskie (The Metal Cowboy)
- BikeCommuters.com
- Bike Friday
- Canadian Best Selling Author, Ted Schredd
- CrazyGuyOnABike.com
- CycleAware
- Entrepreneur, Yaro Starak
- Gene Bisbee
- Momentum Magazine
- Road ID
- WarmShowers.org
- Writer and World traveler, Chris Guillebeau

The goal of the event is to introduce people to bicycle travel (whether it be short trips around their home or long distance tours across the country). The information will be totally free and open to anyone anywhere! All that's needed to participate is an Internet connection.

As a bonus, cycling products donated by the Adventure Cycling Association, BicycleTouringPro.com, CycleAware, and Yakkay will be also be raffled off to event participants.

For more information, visit: https://bicycletouringpro.com/blog/ma...t-approaching/

Thank you... and I hope to see you at my "Bicycle Lifestyle" web event.

So from what I'm able to gather, this is an online thing, correct? A weekend blitzkrieg of articles and interviews and whatnot? Sounds good to me, I'll have to make a note of the date.

Also, the website is bookmaked. I love my bookmarks, oh yes.

I hope so cause I see no city in his text but I'm a skimmer so I might have missed it.

That's right!

Yeah. It's going to be two days of info on bicycle travel, touring, commuting, lifestyle design, bicycle fashion, safety tips... and a whole lot more!

On Sunday I am going to do a live streaming video Q&A session for those who are interested in bicycle touring. I'll be answering any questions you might have about long distance touring, stealth camping, planning for a tour, etc... so if this sounds like something you might be interested, send me an email with your question and I'll try and answer it during the event.

We're getting a good response for the event thus far. A couple newspapers have picked it up and if all goes to plan, it should be a lot of fun! Hope to see you there.

Oops. I forgot to mention

I forgot to answer your question and mention that, yes, the event is entirely online. You don't have to go anywhere, pay for an expensive hotel, air travel, etc. It's free as long as you have Internet access. Just tune in to BicycleTouringPro.com on the 22nd and 23rd of November and the event will be taking place. You just sit back and enjoy the free content!
