everywhere a sign
Someone added this to one of the bike lanes in Seattle. The local bike club forum members are overanalyzing the hell out of it - but I think it's just plain funny:

I'm not going to overanalyze it; but in a society where mowing down a cyclist with an SUV typically nets a driver nothing more than a 2 point moving violation, that stencil just isn't funny.

it does seem a bit funny. I would not be surprised if it was another commuter who painted that in jest.

I also figured who but a cyclist, would come up with such an idea, and carry it out with such accuracy - the taco-bent wheel, for example.

Those of us who are skeptical about the safety provided by a line painted on the road are vindicated by this!
Even the painted icon isn't safe!

Heh. I don't see it as funny, but serious: "Warning, cyclists come to grief here. And their brains asplode."

Cycle Year Round
I wish I were the one that painted it. I think it is funny.
OP, could you post a view of it from straight over head, so I can use the pic to make a stencil.
It has to fit into some 2 foot wide bike lanes though.

I agree with a previous poster about the taco'd wheel - seems like a cyclist did that.
And yes, it was teh funniez.
