I use "Dry Guy Circulators" (google it), which I bought at TJ Maxx last year for $5. Works great - not hot, just warm.

I killed those after two months of use. I wasn't impressed (my last booties, Burleys, which were cheaper, lasted a year or so). I'm probably going to try Showers Pass's booties next.
Another vote for the crumpled newspaper. I grew up on a ranch and drying your soaked and muddy leather work boots in the winter was vital. We'd set them by the wood fire stove, but close to any heater vent (not too close) will work. Even without a heater vent, just stuffing them with newspaper will dry my clipless shoes overnight.

Another vote for newspaper at work, then newspaper plus fan at home.
